Fantasy Football Blog. πŸ“

Hello FPL Community,

Its good to be back!

Feels weird writing my blogs again so bear with me.. πŸ˜…

Lets get to it..

Im being quite boring with my picks early doors this season and going of proven assets and also good fixtures in first couple of Gameweeks early doors.

I really felt last year when i exploited the good fixtures for teams this worked wonders, member Bentkers brace and Lowtons Goal and Cleansheet. πŸ˜

Dont get me wrong with the first couple of weeks the league is going to be all over the place and certain players can do good one week and nothing the next, my advice is never panic after the first Gameweek and see your team as more of a 4/6 weekly punt.

I still haven’t decided a real strategy as of yet but am in no fear of the early Wildcard if things dont go to plan as this worked out well for me last season and for most experienced FPL Managers last season, holding on to the wildcard so late ruined there season.

Heres my team below.Β πŸ‘‡

Sanchez & Foster (GK)

I never like spending more than 9.5m on my GK as i feel this is where less points are made. Sanchez at 4.5m and Brightons opening fixtures is a STEAL! i think he should have been a 5.0m GK and looking at Brighton’s season last year they were 3rd best behind Chelsea and Man City. Foster i picked as i feel he is the most likely to play 4.0m GK.

TAA, Shaw, Cresswell, Tsimikas, Ayling (DEF)

Gone quite Big at the back as i feel this is where we know the most changes wont come. Trent i think has a point to prove and after missing Euros should be fresh, plus VVD back in this weekend could mean more Clean sheets too. Ive picked Shaw & Cresswell as they are both wing backs who also take some set pieces too, plus Shaw is a baller after the Euros. Lastly I’ve gone with Tsimikas & Ayling. Tsimikas is to good to say no to.. i really do feel he starts and even gets a little return, plus him being 4.0m if he don’t play then he is a good place holder. Ayling is more of a long term pick and a pick who i want to watch. Leeds were arguably the best team to watch and was fixture proof last year. Hopefully Ayling will spend more time as a wing back this year and will get a few returns being so high up the field.

Salah, Bruno, Barnes, Buendia & Gilmore (MID)

Always 2 premium Midfielders i start with, Salah & Bruno are the best in the game.. if one dont perform or gets injured then you have funds to chuck elsewhere. Barnes i like as he looked lively against City in the Community Shield and i really want to target his decent first couple of fixtures he is also like one of my forwards and can be very explosive. Buendia ive gone for as Villas first 3 our to good to not go for, his stats in Championship our impressive and he played in Premiership before with Norwich and with Grealish no gone i feel he going to be the main provider. Lastly Gilmore mainly because his still a Chelsea boy & i do feel from watching him in training and pre season he could go higher up the field and maybe even play a more attacking midfielder role what in turn means he could be the Cantwell of 2 seasons ago with Norwich.

Toney, Antonio & Ings

Buzzing to see Toney, his confident and them stats i dont think lie in Championship, his going to score and Brentford are an attacking team. He said in his interviews us FPL mangers should Β©οΈ him.. Then we move on to Antonio, explosive and the main striker for West Ham when fit. Lastly Ings is a bit more of a punt i feel as his in a new team, but his a prove goal scorer with arguably a team who can give him better service now..

©️ Armband for me is on Salah as we all know what he done last opener.. Bruno is also a good shout and i feel if you want to be brave either one of Toney or Antonio is a shout what could see you top the league first Gameweek.
